Dr. Spoons earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Mississippi.  He completed his Internal Medicine residency at University of Tennessee Medical Center.  Dr. Spoons will care for Dr. Mancebo's patients upon his retirement, and he will also welcome new patients.  He is a native of east Tennessee and joined Internal Medicine Associates in September 2022.
